Climbing the Wall of Worry

Worrying about what happens next is a frequent response to news about the markets. Frequently, that is counter-productive because we aren’t getting the entire story. Recently, for example, we have heard much about tech layoffs. However, we aren’t hearing as much about the jobs available to those seeking employment. With a long-term horizon, we shouldn’t let current news worry us as much as it often does.
